Ivan Fong

Ivan Fong is the retired Executive Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary of Medtronic. He has been recognized by the National Law Journal as one of “America’s 50 Outstanding General Counsel” and one of the “Twenty Most Influential General Counsel.” He previously served as Executive Vice President, Chief Legal and Policy Officer and Secretary of 3M, where his legal department was named Legal Department of the Year by The American Lawyer. He was previously appointed by President Obama and unanimously confirmed by the Senate to be General Counsel of the U.S. Department of Homeland Security. Ivan currently serves on the boards of directors of Cboe Global Markets, the American Law Institute, the Leadership Council on Legal Diversity, and the Center for AI and Digital Policy.
